After the great success of the first AKIHO Central Europe Show, which took place two years ago, we are very pleased to once again welcome all breeders, owners, and lovers of the Japanese Akita – this time for the second edition, which will take place on October 12, 2025, at the picturesque Krotoszyce Palace in Poland.

The show once again offers a unique opportunity to present the most beautiful representatives of the breed, exchange experiences with other enthusiasts, and celebrate the Japanese origins of the Akita Inu in a dignified setting – in line with the tradition of AKIHO (Akita Inu Hozonkai), the world’s oldest organization dedicated to protecting this unique breed.

This year too, the prestigious Hachiko Trophy will be awarded – a special honor for outstanding dogs that impress not only with their appearance but also with the spirit of the breed.

AKIHO Judge and Director of the AKIHO Examination Department. An AKIHO member since 1974, Mr. Kimoto is today the highest judging authority within the organisation. His expertise and dedication are recognised worldwide.

Serving as an official judge since 2022, he brings fresh energy and a keen eye for quality.

The event will span two days filled with engaging activities.

On Saturday afternoon, an educational seminar will be held, led by breed specialists from Japan. After the seminar, we would like to warmly invite you to a special banquet – a true celebration for Akita enthusiasts. Alongside delicious food, there will be an opportunity to meet and talk with breed lovers from all over Europe. The evening will culminate in a festive lottery with wonderful and unique prizes – all in support of the Akitas under the care of the “Akity w Potrzebie” foundation.

 

On Sunday morning, the 2nd AKIHO Central Europe Show will commence.

Following the inauguration, the first part of the show will take place – the individual judging. After the lunch break, it will be time for the second and most important part – the announcement of the results and the award ceremony.

 

At the exhibition itself, there will also be plenty of attractions for visitors and guests. In addition to a small Shibuya with the statue of Hachiko, many stands with beautiful and unique gadgets will be waiting for the participants.

We invite you to visit the AwP foundation stand and warmly encourage you to take part in the lottery; we also recommend the beautiful handicrafts, accessories, and dog treats available at the stands of Tora Niwa, Senshi Shimai, Wataha Samuraja as well as Pik-Pik and Charcik.pl.
